Not anything, really.

Toolband has been updated? with more hints towards something.
Good things are coming... Be patient... Don't speculate or over analyze. Don't search the message boards for rumors or look for this on anyone's Myspace page... Just know that good things are coming (albeit under easy sail)... So, to reiterate,... just relax...

and there is a photo of a laptop that i guess Maynard was pissed at.

Maynard records with Jubilee

As pointed out over at the other hotline, Maynard can be found recording vocals for the band jubilee by following that link.
This is a preview of Maynard James Keenan of Tool recording the song "I Don't Have An Excuse, I Just Need A Little Help" with Jubilee at their studio, Shabbey Road. Maynard sings with Aaaron on this song, Trent Reznor programmed the beat and Julian Gross from The Liars played real drums over the beat. This song will be included as a B-side on the band's second single, "In With The Out Crowd".

NME.com has put up the "official" leaked tracklisting for the upcoming Guitar hero which includes the following TOOL tracks:
'Stinkfist'
'Lateralus'
'Schism'
With the next version of gh including a drumset, i couldnt be more excited about this info(givin the fact there is a Floyd track also!)
Thanks to sleepz for the info!

*not a confirmed setlist, according to a recent posting on Fourtheye its a fake. You can still bank on there being a Tool set though.

**i received a tip from someone who asked to remain anonymous stating an inside source on the tracklisting and that the three songs are Vicarious, Schism and Parabola. this is not confirmed nor official but just in case, there you go.

Tool on Guitar Hero 4?

FourthEye reported that Adam's brother Alan(Tool's legal counsel) blogged the following, " After getting all of my work done and closing a deal for Tool (GH4) ". Now, it seems, he posted too much as that has currently been removed from his blog. Doing a search on the matter has brought up many rumors regarding Tool being in the next GH and i, for one, hope them to be true.

Danny at work.

In light of the recent update heres a video i found of Danny in the studio doing what he does best.

Danny is healed!

A recent posting by Blair has updated us on the Danny's hand situation, apparently "it appears that all's well and that he should be ready to perform with VOLTO! on July 16th". There is also a hint towards TOOLish news "he's that much closer to getting back to jamming with his day-job band".

SIGNED REVOLVER ISSUES

Alex Grey has some signed copies of the "Tool Revolver" up for sale over at his site, $25.00 plus shipping.

Hardcover ED. of IJYNX / Danny & Blair project

IJYNX

"For more information or to ORDER A COPY please visit www.amazon.com and type Ijynx (by Blair MacKenzie Blake)."

Also Blair posted a few updates on ToolArmy. One being a new book project with Danny.

"I've a few book projects in the works (including one with Danny), and that has taken much of my time. But returning to the Tool front: I still haven't heard of any new developments with regards to last month's meeting with the band members, their lawyers, and management. I believe this to be good news. Ditto with regards to the other band project in the works, although with this one it's just a matter of time and not a question as to whether or not they will agree to do it."

Toolband newsletters to be posted soon.

Interview with Maynard

LiveDaily interview, talk about possible Puscifer shows for next year.

"Are you going to tour in support of Puscifer?

Probably next year. Then it's not really going to be a tour. It'll be more of a cabaret, an installation in one town for four or five nights. Once again, with different players each night. That way it's fun. It's fresh. More people get to be involved. It's noncommittal, so you don't have to be too precious about it. You can just really have fun and be in the moment with it.

Curse of the Drummer.

Blair posted at Toolband that Danny was injured, back in feb.(This aquatic critter was most likely a sea urchin or a scorpion fish...), whilst on vacation and that this injury will keep him from performing anytime soon with VOLTO! or that other band.
Smells a little fishy to me.
Stop by your local Borders and skim thru the pages of Blender till you come upon a Motley Crue review of one of Maynards wines. After you have read the review put the magazine back on the rack and walk away.

The Melvins

Some interesting updates found on The Melvins MySpace page:

The Melvins will be celebrating 24 years in the business this year and have absolutely NOTHING planned for it, maybe next year when they turn 25? However, along with their new album, Nude With Boots, they do have a shit load of things happening THIS year that include: 1. A lot of touring 2. The vinyl releases of (A) Senile Animal, which will be in a super deluxe quadruple gate fold sleeve with four etched, one-sided 12 inch records 3. Two more 12 inchers with double surprises 4. A secret 7 inch (so secret that not even the band is aware of it) 5. More fun with Haze XXL 6. A split 7 inch with Rancid Vat 7. The Fantomas Melvins Big Band DVD. 8. A huge limited edition Ipecac box set of everything the Melvins have done with the label as well as stuff you haven't heard at all **Plus other stuff we forgot all about or don't know about or something It's a big world out there and nothing is ever as hopeless as it seems.

Thanks Ben

TOOL tour?

FourthEye has posted two rumored cities in which TOOL may be touring, Dallas and Dayton. ive searched radio stations and venues from these areas and cant find any info to verify this so it is still just a rumor. Even though the last tour started out the same way. Be sure that any more info will be posted here.
