Just finished mastering the Puscifer songs featured in the documentary "Blood Into Wine." We'll be releasing it digitally as well as physically. Only a handful of cd's though. Also releasing the "C is For..." E.P. on vinyl and cd. Once again. Limited quantitiy. Details to soon follow. Sept 7th release. Most likely be taking pre-orders around the first week of August.
I've been talking to the guys at NomadLosAngeles this week - they're working around the clock to keep up with the supply of custom limited edition posters being sold on the current TOOL tour (as well as last year's posters).
Once things quiet down enough that they have some time to chat, take dirty pictures, and shoot filthy videos, we'll be chatting with them about all the stuff they're doing in conjunction with Tool.
Ticketmaster has listed the information for the 7/18 and 7/19 LA-Nokia Theater dates. Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 25th at 10:00am. Ticket prices are $39.50 - $85.50.
And Fourth Eye informs us that previously purchased tickets will be honored at the two shows and any July 21st ticket customers will be able to purchase similar seating at the other two shows.
And what I mean by spoiling the setlist is that I'm copying and pasting from the trusty Tool Navy show review forum, where reviews of the first two nights of the tour have been posted. Both nights featured the same set list, and despite naysaying from the official website, Wovenhand indeed performed as openers for Tool. So, without any further delay, here's what you might expect to see performed in the next couple of weeks:
Third Eye Jambi Stinkfist Vicarious Eon Blue Apocalypse The Patient Intolerance Schism 46 & 2 Lateralus Aenema
And if you've seen a show and want to add your own review, I encourage you to do so at Tool Navy. Over at Fourth Eye there photos of the merch that you should check out too, but be warned that if you want to come away with a shirt, bring at least $40.
Wovenhand, an alternative folk rock band, will be supporting Tool on their summer tour ( according to Antimusic.com and the band's myspace) for the following dates :

More information on Wovenhand can be found here and here .
The band could be considered a Christian band according to various articles and reviews. The lead songwriter David Eugene Edwards is known to be an avowed Christian. It's going to be interesting to see how the fans react to this band at the show. Maybe Tool will open with Opiate this tour?
Maynard James Keenan and A Perfect Circle guitarist/songwriter Billy Howerdel performed Bohemian Rhapsody at a recent Activision press-conference. They perform with a giant screen featuring Guitar Hero characters, a full choir, a band conductor, and lasers! The video is only the end of the song, but it is epic!
If anyone can find a full and/or a high quality video let us know.

Tool will be playing LA's Nokia Theater July 18th, 19th and 20th. The dates were announced the evening of June 3rd and went on sale the morning of June 4th, but were subsequently pulled from Tool band and Ticketmaster. According to Ticketmaster, the ticket sales were pulled from their site by the promoter but the dates still stand and the promoter will announce a future on sale date (hopefully with more than one day's notice!). Stay tuned.

The Daily Grail has posted an article on Occult Rock
Ritual Tool
Another band to use the Tree of Life on their album packaging in more recent years is the acclaimed American progressive rock/metal band (who can categorise them?) Tool, on their limited edition CD/DVD box set Salival (“a map of consciousness projected over the body of a Macrocosmic being”). And it is with Tool that we possibly reach the apotheosis of ‘occult rock’. In contrast to the gratuitous use of magickal words and imagery by rock bands in the 1980s – co-opted almost always purely for marketing reasons – Tool employs various branches of esoteric thought as direct aids (or is that 'tools'?) in their creative process. What’s more, they do so with a level of thought and contemplation which seems light years ahead of their peers. In the words of Blair MacKenzie Blake, a close personal friend of the band, Tool have been known to…

It contains a range of new Puscifer remixes, including some that will be familiar to those that caught Puscifer in Country Mode on their last tour. The track listing is: Sour grapes Where?s The Line? I installed a couple of updates to Fourtheye this morning, mainly to do with comment formatting. You should notice now that both the Blog and Forum comment forms now have the ability to add code. In both areas bbCode is now supported (and recommended) however some html is allowed in both areas. For a quick [...]
A couple of cryptic updates have appeared on the A Perfect Circle website over the last couple of days. I?ll leave them up to you to decide what they could mean: 2010-07-19 Movement Subtle stealth movement. Keep eyes and ears peeled for clues thru all channels involving Ashes Divide and Puscifer. 2010-07-16 Stuff …is happening. [...]
Yet another interview with Adam today, this time with Crave Online. As with the previous interviews, it largely focuses on the upcoming art gallery, however Adam does talk about the tour, the setlist, Maynards voice and the writing process for the new album: CraveOnline: I know you’re on tour now, but can you tell us [...]
Adam must have a few things to get off his chest at the moment as there is another interview with him, this time with Erin Broadly of LA Weekly. Once again it?s largely about is artwork rather than Tool. It also has this amusing anecdote: Adam Jones: Oh, absolutely. I’ve got a funny story for [...]
A new interview with Adam popped up today where he speaks with Rick Florino from Artist Direct. He talks about his art, his involvement in the recent X-Files comic and the idea of there being a Tool movie: If the Tool story were to be made into a movie, who would be the perfect director [...]

"Think for yourself. Question authority." The words of Timothy Leary echoed through Viejas Arena as Tool took the stage, letting the expectant crowd know that they'd be blasting off with "Third Eye."
At many points during Tool's gig Thursday night at San Diego's Viejas Arena, the first in a Southern California run that continues Sunday and Monday at Nokia Theatre, I caught myself gawking -- not at the musicians on stage, but at the sliding,...

In an age when success hinges largely on your ability to constantly deliver gossip, news and updates about your whereabouts in 140 characters or less, Tool is an anomaly.
The first show at the newly named Rogers Arena a.k.a the Call Centre saw Los Angeles' alt-metallists Tool rivetting riffage to the rafters. Proving that no matter what else is going wrong in the music biz, metal is its own world. The show sold out in a matter of minutes.
The undisputed kings of prog-metal, Tool, are back. And Saturdays sold-out show at KeyArena is one of the hottest tickets in a slumping summer concert season thats already seen the likes of Rihanna and the Jonas Brothers bail on local tour stops.
