Puscifer Update

Maynard has updated his Myspace page with news of some new tunes going up within the next month...

"As promised, I've been working on some Puscifer tunes on my tour break. It's coming along well. I Should have some new music up on my page within the next month or so. So stay tuned. Several tracks are in the works. Tim Alexander on a couple, Jonny Polonski on a few others, as well as Brad Wilk and Timmy C. And the Lustmord tracks are turning out excellent"

Also some new merch will be going up on the Puscifer page along with new items over at Caduceus.

Tool still on for Bonnaroo

As reported on The Tool Page, the band still appears to be headlining the Bonnaroo festival, despite Danny's recent injury. The report came down from both and

Thanks to Chris for keeping us informed on this.

A small consolation

For those bummed out about Tool postponing their upcoming North American tour, here's a small consolation for you: the band have been named as Revolver magazine's band of the year!

Also, there is apparently an interview with Maynard and Adam in the new issue as well.

Thanks to slicknickshady and kevmanz28 for the details on that.

According to the official site, the upcoming Tool Tour will be rescheduled due to an injury in the band.

"Los Angeles, CA - February 21, 2007 - Tool will be rescheduling their upcoming North American tour due to an injury in the band. Over the weekend, drummer Danny Carey tore a bicep. Danny underwent surgery TODAY and is recovering well. Rescheduled tour dates will be announced shortly."

(Note: Danny just got out of surgery and it went well)

TV interview with Maynard and Danny

A rather strange, and short, interview that Maynard and Danny did with New Zealand's TV3 has shown up online. There's not much to the interview, but it is somewhat interesting, and the rather odd reporting adds some humor to the whole thing. You can check out the interview here.

Big thanks to Mars Mountain for finding this.

P.S.: Keep an eye out for the boom mic that repeatedly falls into frame about halfway through.

Another show added and an *important* El Paso update

It was reported on Fourth Eye, but I felt it important enough to repeat here, in case anyone missed it: Tool have added a March 30th date in Southaven, MS at the Desoto Civic Center. Tickets go on sale this Saturday, February 10th.

Also, the official site has announced that the March 24th El Paso show has been changed to Las Cruces, NM, at the Pan American Center. Blair has stated that he will post ticket info on the site as soon as he gets it.

Also, don't forget that tickets for the Oklahoma City, OK show and the two Las Vegas dates go on sale this Saturday, February 10th, and there will be a pre-sale through Tool Army on Friday.

Big thanks to Casi, Geordy and an anonymous tipster who all wrote in to keep us abreast of all the updates.
