Ok, as I mentioned in an earlier story, the Tool show in San Antonio has been rescheduled. However, it turns out that everything else about that story was bupkiss. Maybe my brain was fried from studying, or maybe I'm just not too bright, but I didn't realize that the story had incorrect information, and for that I apologize.
Ok, so, straight from Ticketmaster, here is the real deal on the rescheduled show: It's going to take place at the AT&T Center in San Antonio on March 26th. Tickets for the original show will be honored at the rescheduled show, according to the AT&T Center's website, and tickets appear to go on sale SATURDAY MORNING, January 20th, at 10:00 AM for the rest of us. I say they appear to go on sale Saturday because the Ticketmaster site lists an obviously incorrect date at the moment, but I am going to try and get a confirmation from Ticketmaster tonight or tomorrow.*
Ok, with all that out of the way...here's the link.
Big, big thanks to ad infinitum and halo eighteen at ETS for keeping up on this. Also, thanks go out to Gary, who went out of his way to personally e-mail me about the incorrect story.
*UPDATE:
Ok, so I did it again. It appears that the tickets will not be going on sale this Saturday, but instead go onsale TOMORROW, Friday, January 19th. Unfortunately, I didn't get word of an onsale time, but general rule of thumb for Ticketmaster seems to be 10:00 AM.
Also, please note that Ticketmaster still doesn't list this onsale date on their site, and, unfortunately, their customer service line is closed for the night, so I can't confirm it right now. So, it's possible that the onsale info might be incorrect, but I wanted to at least give everyone a heads up on what I've heard.
And, don't forget, your original tickets will get you into the show.
Update #2:
Ok, just checked, and as of now, [1/19], tickets for the show are on sale for anyone interested.
